RAFFERTY
Gifted with one white sock, a magical star and the kindest of all souls. His name was Lime Street and he raced, bringing joy to all those who watched, until his time had come to begin his new life in the heart of West Sussex with his devoted new owner.

Here, he was known as Rafferty. Loved and cared for, he enjoyed gentle hacks and lush green pastures with his new friends.
​
One day, his owner noticed changes in him and many days in hospital followed. Rafferty had become ataxic caused by the progression of arthritis. He returned home and a new retirement chapter began for him at just ten years old.

On January 24th 2023, he earned his wings and leapt over rainbow bridge, leaving behind a legacy for his fellow off the track thoroughbreds.
Through the Pegasus Planner, Rafferty helps other ex-racehorses enjoy a fulfilled life from his fields in the sky.
